Description: Yamaha SG800 - Brown Double Cutaway Made in Japan Vintage The SG-800 is a famous model from YAMAHA, released after Carlos Santana's collaboration with the brand. It is a younger sibling of the renowned SG-2000. This guitar features a solid mahogany body covered with maple, and a set neck made from mahogany and maple, topped with a rosewood fingerboard. The back of the headstock is embossed with a serial number and "MADE IN JAPAN."It has simple pearl dot markers and a bound fingerboard. The electronics are configured with two humbuckers, two volume knobs, and two tone knobs, with a jack socket on the front. The two tone pots allow for coil tapping.The guitar shows significant signs of use, with missing pickguard and rod cover. There is a crack near one of the back panel screw holes, and the binding on the first fret on the treble side is beginning to come off. While there are many scratches and signs of wear, there are no major cracks or repair marks affecting playability. The neck is straight, and the frets are about 50% worn.
