Description: It is in very good condition for a reference book from 1945 with only minor imperfections. Some pencil markings and personalization inside the front cover (see photos). This is an illustrated version of Webster's Dictionary containing over 25,000 words. It's sized for a vest-pocket (but you can put it wherever you'd like). It includes pronunciation / abbreviation guides in the front as well as tables and lists in the back such as presidents and weights and measures. It's 5 1/2" high, 2 5/8" wide and 1/2" thick. We've been cleaning out drawers and closets and found this in a box, undoubtedly handed down 2-3 generations of our family. The kids have no appreciation for vintage items.
