Description: Vintage Inuit Eskimo Carved Art wooden Sculpture Hunter and Seal Alaska Northwest Artist: Susook (signed) from 1996 Dimensions: 11 x 6 x 2 1/4" This beautiful wood carving depicts Inuit life. Spear won't stay in the fisherman hand in the upright position, originally was glued to it. some adjustment needed to the wrist in order to attach it. The base of this sculptural carving measures 11 long and 2 1/4 wide. This carving is in very good condition except for the spear situation. Stains of clear glue around the fishing line noted. Wood grain highlights the figurines design. Inuk figure slightly rotates, attached to the base with a wooden rod and glue. Please see pictures for more detailed description.
