Description: Vintage RIDGID10 inch pipe wrench, marked "Trade Mark" and "Pat. 1727623", with "The Ridge Tool Co." on front side and "Elyria, O. U.S.A." on the back side. The overall length is 9.8 inches, and the finish is plain steel. This wrench is covered by patent 1,727,623, issued to W.O. Thewes in 1929. While still a stand alone company, it was always called the "Ridge Tool Company", the BRAND name of the tools was always "Ridgid". When the Ingwer family sold it in 1966 to Emerson Electric, they stopped putting "The Ridge Tool Company" on the tools and just used "Ridgid" from then on. This wrench has spent the past 40 years neatly along side other wrenches in my large multi-drawer Craftsman tool chest. I am not a business, just a person who is downsizing their collection of tools. Since putting it into the tool chest it has not been used. If you purchase multiple items then I will work to combine, where possible, shipping to reduce your shipping cost
