Description: auction is for a painting on board by famous early Texas listed artist Chester Dixon Snowden (1900-1984). (There is a nice bio of Snowden on Wikipedia.) Snowden is famous for his modernist and impressionism paintings. I have quite a lot of his art. We purchased his estate a few years ago and have had some very unique items. This measures approximately 10 x 16. The board is approximately 1 inch thick.
