VINTAGE MR MAGOO GE LIGHTBULB ALIEN ORIGINAL ANIMATION PRODUCTION CEL DRAWING

Description: Description This terrific vintage original animation production drawing features the Alien from one of the popular "GE Lightbulb" 1960's TV commercials with Mister Magoo. The image of the alien is just right of the center of the paper and is done in pencil with the GE logo as a lightbulb nose. In the upper left corner on the back you can see the "MGM ANIMATION/GRAPHICS" watermark. Animation drawings are usually rendered in graphite and/or colored pencil on paper, drawings illustrate an animator's creative process of bringing characters to life. Many collectors prefer drawings to cels, because they are often more spontaneous and full of life, and they are more likely to be the work of a lead animator.
