Description: Here is a vintage General Electric tabletop or mountable pivoting box fan. Color is a creamy teal! Catalog #F12A2. Fan does have a few issues. 1. The cord has been spliced and, while it does work, it should be replaced. I believe the original cord has been used, the plug was cut to extend the length. 2. There is a hole on the side that I assume was meant for a switch. That switch is missing. This may have been for a speed selector switch. So it is one speed and comes on when plugged in. It does work like a charm and has no "noises" or "hot" smell that it shouldn't have. Runs smoothly! 3. There is some minor paint wear and a scuff or two on the plastic and a spot of white latex paint on the base that should come off with a small amount of skill. This fan can be for tabletop usage or you can mount this on a sturdy wall and pivot the fan for the best flow. Or you can just have it on a shelf to look cool! It measures 14" wide x around 14" tall x 8-9" in depth, and while it will not be your biggest fan, it will have the heart of a much bigger fan! This was made in the USA and made to last with craftsmanship that is not really found anymore. If you collect vintage fans or just have a desire to have a conversation piece and be cool, well, here you go! Please see photos to get a better idea on condition and issues.
