Description: On the block: One (1) vintage Foster's Lager "Happy 200th Australia" advertising pinback button. It measures approx 2.25 inches from side to side and features a blue background with the Australian continent in red. A full color Foster's Logo is at the top left and "Happy 200th AUSTRALIA" in white across the center. Older single shell construction with spring pin. No date (however, Australia's 200th was in 1988) or makers marks. In good used condition with multiple marks commensurate of a 30+ year old button. There are two heavier scratches in the last three letter's in "AUSTRALIA". Great color/sharp image, some darkening from handling on the back. See pics. Foster's was created by the Foster brothers in 1886. In 2011, it was sold to SABMiller, in 2016 to Anheuser-Busch, then to Asahi Breweries in 2020.
