Description: Bright and stylish vintage Crosley small tabletop AM tube radio, model F5-RD. This little set measures a mere 9" across, 6" deep, and 6" tall. This example - manufactured in 1955 - is in nice condition, with no observed cracks, chips, or breaks anywhere. The radio does have some very mild paint loss in a few places, but it gives it a nice vintage feel. This set also has its original back. Overall, a very nice example of this 70 year old set. After warming up for a moment, the radio began pulling down local stations. Reception seemed a little weak (no real hum), but adding a length of wire as an antenna might improve this.
