I have a rare hard to find Pre Patagonia Vintage Chouinard Equipment Blue Hiking Backpack Summit Pack in preowned condition. Pack measures approximately 24''x12''x12'' deep and is marked a size Regular Made In Korea. Chouinard Pack has two exterior side pockets that are approximately 5 1/2'' deep. Pack features a generous main compartment with three additional pockets located at the back. The middle pocket is 8 1/2'' wide and the depth goes to the very bottom of the bag. The other two are 8'' wide by 5'' deep. Additional zipper pocket in the top of the pack measuring approximately 10''x10'' with dual accessibility. All buckles and straps work. Shoulder straps are padded. Pack has both a waist strap and a chest strap. The Pack is padded in the back with a rigid interior support present. Some stains on the bag the most prominent are noted. The interior waterproofing is flaking off in most places as seen. Interior of the bag has scuffs and marks from use. This piece is not only a functional hiking pack but also a wonderful piece of early pre Patagonia history. Please feel free to zoom in and inspect to your hearts content.
