Description: I’ve had this lamp for several years, and decided recently to REALLY look at it, that’s when I noticed the distinct burl grain.. I had to see what it would look like refinished. It turned out pretty nice if I do say so. My guess is it was made in the 60’s or 70’s. I put a new cord on it, and new sockets, so it’s a very safe lamp. Pardon the ugly old shade, it’s the only one I had, and I wanted you to get some idea how it would look with a shade. NOTE: the dark spot of the wooden column, about 3” from the top of the wooden column is part of the the wood, I showed it in photo number 3 to make sure it’s not hidden, in person it’s obviously a part of the piece, it adds to its beauty. I hate to brag on my own work, but I’m going to anyhow. It’s one of my most beautiful pieces of wood I’ve refurbished, but I can’t keep everything I’ve redone. I just want to say, even if this old lamp doesn’t sell, it means a lot to me for all the views it’s received. As a craftsman that makes it all worthwhile.. that you folks like it good enough to take a good look at it. ❤️
