The 17.5-mm quartz is beautifully cut with a conventional brilliant cut creating an octagonal table on top, and an elaborately cut bottom that is striking and bright viewed through the gemstone's limpid body. In excellent condition, the ring is marked and tests positive for 14k gold, measures a size 6 1/2 (resizable) and weighs 7.6 grams.
