Description: two Hemel Hempstead 1880 era coffee house tokens both the same , one item is a pair each reading " GOOD FOR ONE PENNYWORTH OF REFRESHMENT AT THE " " HEMEL HEMPSTEAD COFFEE TAVERN " each measure approx 2.3cm across in good unpolished condition i have a few of these all old stock from a Watford shop which closed a long time ago ,see last photo for reference the tokens had been in the plastic sleeves for many years and would possibly benefit from a cleansold untouched as acquired one item is two [same ] tokens ie 2 for 22£
