Description: Up for sale is a Very Nice overall condition vintage "Dish-Type" Thumbpiece, and Thumbpiece Nut in Blued Finish, that originated from a very well-maintained Smith & Wesson Model 586 No Dash Revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, a L-Frame Revolver. These parts are the SAME parts that would have been installed on virtually all Blued S&W N-Frame, K-Frame and L-Frame revolvers from the same period. Priced per quite favorable condition and limited availability: It is becoming increasingly difficult to find older, vintage Blued examples of parts like these that have not worn, corroded, spotted or pitted with age and use - or have otherwise succumbed to simply too much physical wear. The Dish-Style Thumbpieces have been out of production for over 30 years. These parts are in very favorable condition for their age: The Thumbpiece itself maintains a nice, deep, near-black appearance with its Factory Original Finish, with only minor signs of handling and wear to the finish. The Thumbpiece Nut also retains its original finish, and shows only minor signs of tooling to the Screw Slot.
