Sissel Skille Doll Karoline 26 in Gotz Limited Edition 2001

Description: I was most fortunate to acquire this Sissel Skille's Karoline in such fine condtion. Some of these models have so much wear I am happy to report that she is in more like new than used. I was most fond of her dressed to be running around barefoot in her dainty slip that charmingly can serve as a summer sundress, tailored yet hangs loosely and recently pressed. Neither her slip nor white dress, tights, sweater, nor hat, has any stains.Note her white crocheted hat is still attached to her sweater at manufacturing.Her shoes however do show slight wear, see picture. She stands 26 inches tall, manufactured by Gotz in Germany in 2001 and bought by me through ebay. She is lot number 630 of 750 produced. I adore the fullness of her face and roundness of her cheeks. She eyes are deep blue and lips as rosy as they appear in her photos.With the right coat and hat, mittens and galoshes, imagine this child so lifelike standing with a group of her friends in a 1940s or 50s awaiting the school bus stop ready to go home at the end of the day while wearing her coveted little heart locket. Her braids are classic never been unbraided but left by me as when arrived. Her loose wispies lend to the softness of in her face. Yet I feel the sculptress has already accomplished that in how she was finished as her skin that has a unique delicate sheen. I truly feel that of all my collection of dolls (about 70), that she is the most authentic looking human like child I have ever owned and find her incredible because of this and therefore hate to part with her but must as I begin to downsize. She has a slight marking on her left cheek that's hard to see unless you are looking for it. I didn't see it when I was shooting her, as I I was preoccupied in adjusting shooting w to my son's new cannon camera. I ask fair prices by making price adjustments based on any flaws I find.Sitting chair is not included doll. Sweet Karoline is free of any pet, and mold odors.
