Description: For sale is a chocolate cup and saucer by Rosenthal in the Diplomat pattern on the Ivory Continental shape. The two-piece porcelain set is decorated with richly colored floral bouquets with hand-painted metallic gold flourishes. Each is blind embossed trellis pattern; the saucer has a beaded lip finished in gold at the lip while the cup has a smooth gold lip. The Diplomat pattern has been in production since 1961. Both pieces are in very good condition with no damage or wear. Each is are marked in gold and black Rosenthal Ivory mark.
