MacGregor Jr. ---------------------------------------------------------- The RMS Queen Mary is a retired British ocean liner sailed primarily on the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967. She was built by the John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland, christened in 1934 and her maiden voyage was in 1936. During World War 2 she was converted into a troop ship. After WW2, Queen Mary was refitted for passenger service and along with Queen Elizabeth conducted a twin ship transatlantic passenger service. But business slowed down due to the dawn of the jet age. By the mid-60’s the Queen Mary was operating at a loss and retired in 1967. She sailed for the last time during October 1967 to the port of Long Beach California. Today the R.M.S. Queen Mary proudly serves as a tourist attraction featuring restaurants, a museum and a hotel.  Art print of the R.M.S.
