Then the vise is primed and painted highlighted greased and assembled . Why buy a restored vise because it looks beautiful? The answer is no you buy it because restoring a vise is costly and time consuming . When you buy a old vise you are gambling you really don't know what you are getting. And after adding all it takes to get a unrestored vise to LOOK AND WORK as this one does buying it restored is the good deal. I USED NO FILLERS ON THIS VISE.
