Description: Selling a unusual MIXER marked RICHARDSON CORP. ROCHESTER, N.Y. "The Richardson Corporation was started in Rochester by cousins Alick and Durbin Richardson in 1915. The company produced syrups, nuts, and crushed fruit for use in soda fountains and parlors as far afield as New York City. They were particularly well known for their Richie Root Beer syrup. The Richardson Corporation. was eventually purchased by Baldwin Ice Cream, founded in Chicago, and continues today as part of the expanded Baldwin Richardson Foods Company." I am speculating this mixer was used mainly in Soda Fountains but could have been used elsewhere. It likely set into a metal or other container and could be lifted off for cleaning or adding materials to be mixed. It measures roughly 6" wide and 6 1/2" tall not including the handle or gears. Please see all photos and ask any questions before bidding.
