Description: 2017 A series Minneapolis District $20 USD error star note. This particular series was replaced in sheets, making the run size extremely small at 300,00. This note has a vertically offset right-side serial number that is too close to the treasury seal. The left-side serial number is misaligned to the left. It is supposed to be aligned with the “I9” directly below. The date for the serial number is 25 July ‘79, the day of the single greatest 24 hour rainstorm the United States has seen to date. Happened in Alvin, TX from tropical storm Claudette, where they saw 42” of rain in 24 hours. An extremely cool find for your collection!
