Description: An elegant pair of Chanel earrings from 1989 season 26. Karl Lagerfeld was head of Chanel during this period. In 1986 he hired Victoire de Castellane as head jewelry designer. She stayed for ten years before moving onto Dior. Each earrings has a rich antique gold patina and shaped as a four sided medallion with central faux mobe' pearl. Each measures 1 inch square and .38 of an inch high not including the clip back. The back of the earrings have the oval Chanel signature plaque inscribed with Chanel, copyright and signature stamps, a central CC logo in a circle, 2 on the left and 6 on the right with Made in France along the bottom. Very very fine condition with lovely rich gold patina. Comes with authentic Chanel pouch, not original pouch for earrings. Comes from a smoke free home.
