RARE Antique Tunbridge Ware Hair Pin or Hair Slide - Mid to Late 1800s

Description: This beautiful item, made of inlaid wood measures 7 1/4" long and is in amazing condition. It is 3/4" wide at the top. The floral design on the front is unbelievable when you realize it was all inlaid by hand. The reverse side of this Hair Pin (or Slide) shows the beautiful grain of the wood. Tunbridge Ware items were made in England and this item dates from about 1860 to 1880. A truly unusually item that would be a wonderful addition to your collection.
