Design as a building block and is compatible with the Audio Preamplifier kit EBAP-2 (sold separately) [see our other listing]. The LM386 provides up to 1 watt of low distortion audio power at THD = 0.2% (THD is the total amount of audio distortion) and voltage gain up to 46dB. It will drive a small speaker. Includes printed circuit board (PCB), components, and instructions. Specifications: Output power up to 1 W @ THD = 0.2% (THD is the total amount of audio distortion) into an 8 ohm load. This device will operate from 5to 9 VDC. Voltage gain upto 46dB. PCB Size 2.26" x 2.765" Rainbowkits are intended for advanced-beginners and up. The builder must be able to identify common electrical components and their markings. Minimal skill at soldering is required. All parts are factory tested.
