These are listed as New in as much that I never used them - when I get a shirt from this high-end company I immediately remove the stays, because the last time I forgot, the metal got stuck in my washing machine and it broke it. Permanently. That was $800 wasted. So if you really need to have crisp, pointy, flat collars, here's a high end way to do it. I don't know what the metal is exactly but it's a bronze-tone material.
