Description: This offering is for one of the like pictured Olive Drab (OD) First Aid/compass pouch which attaches VIA an A.L.I.C.E. metal clip to secure on the harness assembly, the MOLLE or other design vest or the pistol belt. Originally made from canvas, during the Vietnam War, the material was changed to nylon to prevent rotting of the pouch. Before the development of the Individual First Aid kit, every Soldier carried a Wound Bandage within this pouch, and later this same pouch was used as a carrier for the lensatic compass, and is still used today. This pouch will also hold a pack of playing cards, a pack of cigarettes or an individual Survival kit such as the one shown in my store.
