The part number is 1116530 (D1487) , it is in group # 7.6300 of the GM parts catalogs . GMC used different group numbers at this time. It is unused and has been on my warehouse shelf since it was purchased from GM. The part is stamped D-R on the bakelite. According to GM It fits: 1956 GMC TRUCK 550 D630. The part number may have been later superseded to fit other models, but this is the only correct application in the original listings.
