Yarn Review: A yarn in stormy shades of darker grey, the subtle variations in the shading only become apparent once knitted. A very soft hand, yielding a lovely springy fabric, that invites you to touch it. The bouclé loops on this yarn are full circles which I think will make the resulting fabric more durable in the long run. With this fiber combination and the bouclé spin, anything made from it will hold a lot of insulating air, so expect anything made from this to be WARM. As with most fine bouclé yarn, it’s hard to tell at first glance if a fabric is stocking net or garter stitch. These sample swatches are both stocking net on 4mm (US 6) needles, the first double stranded, the second a single. Adjust your needle size for the density of knitted fabric you desire.
