Description: One of Alta Apachito’s coolest pieces of artwork. This Native American, Bear Kachina stands at 13”, with its over the top, fur headpiece and intimidating claws. It’s a very powerful looking doll-even at just a little over a foot tall. Donned in a teal-blue, leather dress, handpainted, with shells and beads, there is no doubt, the God’s were impressed, by the dedication to detail, from the artist. I know, I was! The artist gives us a fabulous look into past and/or present traditions, being kept alive and put out in art form, so the rest of us can appreciate it, too.
