Description: Incredible figurine of a fine delicate pink rose bush being watered by a Dutch Girl!. She's reaching for a stemmed rose laying atop the rose bush. Her hand is not touching the rose bush, it's freestanding! I counted 25 roses! I have carefully looked over this piece several times and can find no damage, no chips or nicks - absolutely no fault with either the applied roses or applied leaves or her fingers! This is a long retired piece from 1988 titled: Girl Watering, Lladró Item #01001354, with the Spanish Name Nina Regando. Designer is Francisco Catalá, and first year Issued was 1978. Retired: 1988. Finish is glazed and she measures nearly 10" height. Weighs over 2 pounds! Part of a large Lladro collection I have been consigned. See all photos!
