Description: Hires Root Beer vintage antique ceramic mug 1890. This beautiful ceramic mug measures approximately 4 1/2” x 5” x 2 1/2”. The mug depicts a rosey cheeked boy, dressed in period attire, holding “this mug”, in his outstretched left arm and hand-filled with foamy root beer. Across the top of the front is boldly written; “Join Health and Cheer” and across the bottom is written; “Drink Hires Rootbeer” On the mugs bottom are the words; “Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Germany, (the company seal in green). The number 3012 is stamped into the bottom of the piece. The overall exterior of the mug is beige with a bright white inside.
