Description: This is a NEW High Power Rare Earth Magnet. Over 4,000 sold. It will give you more reliable readings at a greater working distance than the stock magnet. This magnet is much more powerful than your stock magnet. This is held to the pedal arbor by strong magnetic attraction. This will work great at a distance of 1/4 - 1/2" as shown in the pictures on my bike. This magnet will work at distances of 1 inch and will definitely make your readings more reliable. To show the High Strength of this magnet I took a picture of a steel anvil 5 1/2" long, 2" wide and 3" high being held by this little magnet. See if your cadence magnet will hold anything as big as this steel anvil. This magnet has a pull strength of 5 lbs and is plated for corrosion resistance. These magnets are the strongest available and the stronger strength gives more consistent readings. They are easily removed with a small screwdriver, so a hole in the middle is unnecessary and weakens the magnet strength. These are high quality magnets equal in quality to any other sellers magnets , so why pay more. No more wire ties or double stick tape to keep your cadence magnet in place. Unless you have Titanium pedal arbors, then unfortunately you will have to use the double stick tape. (Which I will include, if you need it) Some Shimano crankarms have a pocket that doesn't allow the magnet into the pedal threads, so the magnet will be proud of the crankarm. It still works great. The Giant RideSense sensor is not movable to align with the pedal arbor, so you will have to use the stock included magnet that fits in a pocket on the crankarm. To use this magnet you would need to epoxy or use double stick tape. These will be shipped in a First Class mail envelope. If you haven't received it in 7-14 days email me.
