Description: Offered here is a vintage hand glazed decorator plate, probably made in Israel, circa 1950s/60s in age. It displays the Word SHALOM in the center with the Hebrew letters of the word present, also a Dove of Peace with an olive branch in its beak. It measures 10 3/4 in diameter, slightly convex to about 1 deep, and there is also a mounting attachment on the reverse, so it may be displayed on the wall or other vertical surface, if so desired. Condition graded FINE- with no chips or dings, just a general patina of age to it. I am also including a 2 3/4" square wooden framed copper plate that has oven fired enamel color fired onto it- an ancient time-honored Chinese technique at temperatures ranging from 350-950 degree centigrade. Before being fired, each picture is hand-painted by skilled artists. These tiles are then polished and put in hand-crafted wood frames. These are made in Israel. Last, I'm including a little wooden plaque with cutout wooden letters that spell out Jerusalem. There is a tiny chain to hang it up by. I am sure this isn't an expensive piece and I could not find any on the Internet anywhere. It might be homemade. I acquired all these pieces at an estate auction. They are in great condition. No chips, cracks, Knicks anywhere that I can see or feel. On the back of the plate, because it is so old, it has those lines that China gets in it over time that you see, but that is all. I ship soon as I receive payment and item ships from Van Wert Ohio 45891. I try to make it a twenty-four hour turnaround time from when you order till I drop item off at post office; unless it's the weekend.
