Description: Here's a good deal on a professional instrument. You'll have fun with this pre-owned Getzen Eterna Proteus silver trumpet. The serial number is G46143. On the bell it reads "Eterna Proteus By Getzen Elkhorn, WI U.S.A." I believe this model is called the 907S. It has; good valves, nice action, thumb saddle, .460 bore, 4 3/4" bell, shiny finish, no big dents, mouthpiece and an O'Malley case. It has a ding here and there and the wear of a trumpet that's been played with a tiny ripple on the bell (see pic) but all-in-all looks good and would detail nicely. (see pic) Me? I'm not a store/Maynard Ferguson. Buy accordingly. Looking for instruments and getting them into the hands of players is a hobby of mine. I've never come across one of these. I'm not a trumpet player but can get a nice sound out of it and, as is, would be good enough for me. That said, since whoever buys this will be an advanced/pro level player, I'm sure you'll want to have your tech give it a complete going over for adjusting/take out dings/clean/give the works to get in tip-top condition...and am selling a such.
