Description: For sale is a small bud vase or paperweight from the Free State Glass, signed and dated 1993, in a blue lava flow pattern. The 3 1/2" diameter vase has eight interior sections divided by a thin green-white line from lip and running down interior. The blue glass breaks in a pattern like a lava lamp leaving a fine light color border. Staying in the sections, the blue and white combination breaks differently, sometimes in organized repetitions (circle-oval-oval) and others as abstract shapes. This piece has shelf wear commensurate with age including a few fine scratches exterior (photograph 12, 13). The vase is signed and dated on the reverse.
