I used to collect vinyl as I worked in a record shop and have hundreds of rare records. Here we have my own 1st Pressing copy of Freddie Starr - After The Laughter. It is a 12" vinyl LP, 33⅓ rpm with a solid centre. Published on the Dover Record Label, Cat No ADD 10. On the runout of side 1 is ADD 10 A1, side 2 is ADD 10 B1 which makes this a first pressing! If you think this LP set is not a first pressing, then please either do not buy or buy in the knowledge that you think it is not!All the information is above for you to check before purchasing! The vinyl has possibly never been played, therefore has minimal surface blemishes. I have graded the vinyl as Near Mint. The inner sleeve is original and is graded as Excellent. The original Picture Sleeve still has the cellophane on it albeit opened but protects the sleeve. It has minimal shelf wear - see pics. It is graded as Excellent+. MINT - Possibly unplayed - excellent condition through out! NEAR MINT (NM): This record has the lightest of light surface scratches on the vinyl. It should play without any problem. EXCELLENT (EX): Minor scuffs which are visible. There may be more than a few scuffs.It should play without any problem! VERY GOOD (VG): Record shows wear and / or surface scuffs. The vinyl still has great luster,but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause minor surface noise. GOOD (G) Record has visible scratches / scuffs but plays without jumping / skipping. FAIR (F) Record may jump or skip but worth having in the collection. Cover & Sleeve Grade - Please Read. MINT (M): No stickers, address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits.No wear to the cover. NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. EXCELLENT (EX): Artwork is still fair. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear), but no ink wear! Some creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks ok with slightly more aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover. Flat white paper will be somewhat yellow, yet no stains or mildew from water damage. Some wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through. GOOD (G) Covers may have edge damage, may have creases in more than one place and yellowing. FAIR (F) Covers have tears, edge and opening damage, ink marks / writing. GOOD A few creases and minor tears.
