Description: This vintage chrome powstcard features a real photo view of a street in New York City's Chinatown. There are many people on the sidewalks and the street is lined with 1960's automobiles. Businesses on the street include the Macau Restaurant, the Shanghai Restaurant, The Pacific Bar, a Chinese Church, and a barber shop. The text on the reverse of this postcard is showing it's age. Rather than refer to the inhabitants of Chinatown as Asians or Asian Americans, the text refers to them as "Orientals". This postcard was printed by Dexter Press of West Nyack, New York. It was published by Manhattan Post Card Publishing Company of New York City. This postcard is in very good condition (see scans).
