The WB body structure used walnut for the top material, and the previous WM body structure used mahogany for the back material, but we changed it to Australian blackwood to improve the sound quality and wider range of sound. By using this Australian blackwood, we were able to achieve a dramatically wider range and improved sound quality. In addition, Jescar stainless steel jumbo frets are used for the frets, resulting in a clearer start of sound.The bridge can accommodate a wide range of tunings, from Caparison's original FixedBridge7 to down tuning with heavy gauge strings and regular tuning with regular gauge strings.
