Description: I bought this diecast Ferrari F40 model in the early 1990s. I examined it and put it back in the box. It has been stored in the climate-controlled, smoke-free environment of my closet for over 30 years. Never displayed or played with; this is only second time out of the box for these photos. The model is in very good condition; no fading from sunlight. All parts are present. I don’t see any nicks or scratches in the paint. The wooden base has sharp corners and edges with a glossy simulated grain top. The box has very little shelf ware. There are many Burago 1/18 scale 1987 Ferrari F40s listed on eBay but the factory mounting of the model on the wooden base isn’t common. Only four others are listed, one in Greece and one Italy so the shipping is more than my opening bid. One listing called this Burago’s Executive Series but there is no mention on the box. The wooden base definitely enhances the model’s appearance and makes it great for gifting to anyone who likes cars. Features: 1. Opening hood with spare tire 2. Opening engine compartment 3.
