Description: NOT STOCKED! ALLOW 10 DAYS TO PRODUCE Straight from the restoration hangar of our B-17E Desert Rat. Measuring 26" X 26", and fabricated by our talented restoration team from actual .020" aircraft aluminum, these panels are riveted to replicate the appropriate rivet pattern for the hatch's stringers, hinges, and latch, (which are not included). Please note that these hatch panels are produced from raw roll-stock. Although they have not been polished, they will readily lend themselves to such if desired. Anyone familiar with the iconic 1949 movie,Twelve O'Clock High, starring Gregory Peck, will recognize this hatch as the "feet-first" aircraft ingress for the forward crew members.
