Description: Based on condition with very little indications of use I think this was used very little. Even the bottom of the case has little indication it was moved around. When running this sewing machine hums quietly and has been tested for basic functions. Smooth movement of the needle and motor. No strange smells when running (remembering my mother’s old Singer electric motor smelled when she was using it) and also pretty quiet. Knobs and levers are present and move smoothly. I think it’s been left on a shelf for a while and a tune up oiling might be a good idea however it seems that it’s good to go either way. I don’t know enough about sewing to test ALL the functions. Bernina has addressed many of the significant issues people have when they sew, and then designed sewing machines to take care of those issues. Solutions like non-jamming bobbins and a special automatic tension. Taking the time to try to adjust tensions between the bobbin & the upper tension can take hours using specialty threads, but with Bernina’s automatic tension, it is much less time consuming and complicated. The 930 has 2 different sizes of EXTRA LONG basting stitches to make fittings and alterations far easier. The 930 Electronic also has the needle up/down feature. Comes with the foot pedal, table or platform, power cord and heavy Bernini carry case. Includes one bobbin. No extra accessories included here. The 15v bulb is burned out so I have a replacement LED bulb on the way. As you can see just to the right of the foot is a piece of tape I’m guessing a previous owner used as guide. I can leave it or remove it if you like. This machine is HEAVY. Please be prepared for more expensive shipping costs as a result. Planning to double box and insure when shipping.
