This three-piece beverage service consists of:A coffee pot/ tea pot/ teapot/ coffeepot: approx. 7" tall at highest point; hinged lid with finial and two (2) insulation bands on the handle; item no. 12900 A creamer/ cream pitcher: approx. 3 ½" tall at highest point; item no. 12903 A sugar bowl: 3 ½" tall at highest point; item no. 12902 The marks on the base of each piece are as follows: "COMMUNITY PLATE" [the item no.] This particular set is pictured and referenced in Bones, F., and Fisher, L., " The Standard Encyclopedia of American Silver plated Flatware and Hollow Ware ," c. 1998, p. 46 (reproduction of a 1930 catalogue); it is listed as a "Three-Piece Tea Set." "Collectible!" (Hagan, T., " Silverplated Flatware ," rev'd 4th ed., c. 1995, p. 197). Also, the BIRD OF PARADISE pattern is featured in a four page layout in Bones, F., and Fisher, L., " The Standard Encyclopedia of American Silver plated Flatware and Hollow Ware ," c. 1998, pp. 43-46. Excellent used condition. Light, minor, insignificant surface scratches. I'll leave the polishing to the buyer.
