This soft and lovely yarn was spun and hand painted in Peru for Knitting Fever, Inc. and is 100% Merino wool. It weighs approximately 3.52 oz. or 100 grams and contains approximately 454 yards. Suggested knitting gauge is 7.5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch on size US 4/3.5 mm needles. The colorway is 34 Multi, Dye Lot 72124. PLEASE NOTE: This yarn proved to be somewhat hard to photograph completely accurately. It actually ranges from tonal off white to a medium cool grey in color, overall slightly darker than it appears in the photos. This yarn came from an estate sale, part of a vast collection of very high quality yarn, where it was carefully stored. It is brand new, never used, clean and ready to wind into a cake or ball for your knitting or crochet project. Since I acquired it recently, it has been in my non-smoking and pet-free home, but I do not know if there were pets or smoking in the original home.
