Description: For your consideration are 3 fantastic pairs of antique French renaissance revival brass shield back electric sconces. Rare fixtures to find in any condition! These are complete and definitely look like they came out of somewhere important. They're circa early 1900's and were made in France. The original candle covers were deteriorated and a couple were missing, so I went ahead and replaced all of them with reproduction covers. There is expected patina, tarnishing, marks and scratches on the brass from age, as well as some very old paint in places around the edges. There is also some rust on the metal brackets underneath the candle covers, however, this is obviously not visible with the candle covers on. The original wiring is still present and, as always, I recommend having antique lighting looked over by your own electrician prior to installation and use. On/off knobs are located on the front above the flower centerpieces. These measure 10" wide x 9" tall. Feel free to ask any questions.
