It is made of fine, white bone china. The border is molded with raised gadrooning. The border contains panels of cobalt blue on an ivory ground. There is ornate raised gilding in each of these panels. Gold hearts alternate with the panels. The gilding is exquisite and all raised so that you can feel it.
