Description: Antique C.G. Conn The Conn-Queror Cornet In Leather Case. This one has some age to it. There is a good sized dent at the turn that you can see in the photos along with a few smaller ones here and there. The valves all move ok but guessing the springs have seen their day as they just don't jump back like they used to. You can tell that the etchings were hand done. There are quit a few markings throughout. Like the one that says, "Exchanged for new Buescher Elkhart, Ind. 1817". The serial number on this is 85418 and then has an 'L' and a star below that. The leather case is still in decent condition. I'm guessing the front flap needs to be glued or fixed somehow? I'm not sure where this was used or who "J.M.T." is but it sure makes for a neat item. The mouthpiece has the letters what I think is 'JCO' engraved on it. I couldn't find anything about it.
