Description: A gorgeous vintage Alex & Co. Siam/Thai sterling silver niello box. Case's lid features two finely etched battling war elephants. Interior is wood lined. Total weight is approx. 292g/10.2oz. Measures approx. 3.5"h x 4"l x 1.5"d. Displays general pre owned wear, tarnish, surface scratches, and some dings to the silver of the box's sides. The box still contains some organic matter (dried tea leaves?) and there are some slight gaps between the wood lining and box wall in the bottom interior. See pictures.
