I believe this would best fit a modern Juniors size Large or Adult size Medium. The actual measurements are as follows:Bust: 18 inches across, underarm to underarm (36 inches around) Natural Waist: 15 inches across (30 inches around, measured at the narrowest part of the dress) Drop Waist: 16.5 inches across (33 inches around, measured at the seam between the bodice and the skirt) Hips: Full and roomy Length: 40 inches from the shoulder to the hem Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. DESCRIPTIONThis is a lovely vintage prom dress from the 1980s that was made in the USA. The bodice of the dress is made out of a dark blue crushed velvet. The dress has a sheer lace illusion neckline, and it has long sleeves that are sheer lace as well. The lace has a floral pattern. It has a slight shine to it, and there are subtle brown accents around the edges of the flowers. The skirt is very full, nearly a full circle, and it is lined in acetate. The velvet part of the bodice is also lined in acetate. The dress closes with a zipper down the back. CONDITIONThis dress is in excellent vintage condition.
