26" Germany Kestner 195 bisque head-fur brows-HH wig

Description: 26" Germany Kestner 195 bisque head (circumference is 13")incised on back of head: DEP 195.14, and on lower plate: K. Made in Germany, has large deep brown sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, newer long brush upper lashes, inset fur eyebrows (nice condition), red accented eyes & nostrils, blushed cheeks, an open mouth showing tongue & six upper teeth, wears a newer brown custom made human hair wig styled long with loose curls. The head has no cracks, chips, or hairlines. The original lower bisque arms & legs are very nice, need a bit of cleaning, left ankle has been broken and neatly repaired, with some glue residue remaining. The kid leather body was repaired all around at the hip seam with a mighty strong glue. It is a strong repair !....please see pictures. The leather has small rips at the right arm joint (still strong) and at the right elbow on back. All joints work well, and there is no leaking anywhere. This very lovely lady wears a very colorful taffeta print (tan/beige/green/orange) gown (circa 1950's) trimmed in green looped fringe with copper sequins all around, dress has a draped front with a bustle back (very nicely made), has a back button/snap closure. The copper top has come off one of the sequins. Her large brimmed hat matched the dress and has many colorful cloth flowers at the inner brim. She also wears newer long beige bloomers, a long white nylon slip trimmed in lace, antique beige silky stockings, and vintage ivory oilcloth tie-front shoes. She is an adorable big girl !
