Description: 2 Vintage 1960's J.K.W (Josef Kuba) Bird Plates Nice Condition. 2 Bird plates by J.K.W. in West Germany. Both have gold inlay and decorated with with lovely birds. 7.5 diameter JKW is for Josef Kuba, Wiesau Porcelain Factory and Decorating Shop who decorated in the "Vienna Style" It was established in Karlsbad around 1930 and then re-established after World War II in Wiesau, Bavaria, Germany. Since the mark includes the words Western Germany or Bavaria it dates the pieces to the 1950s or 1960s. No chips, no cracks, one plate is missing the original hanger.
