Even though this coin was issued by the U.S. Mint in 1993, the dates on the coin are 1991-1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the period that the United States was involved in World War ll. There were three denominations coined, each with a business type strike and a proof strike. The coin being offered is an example of the copper-nickel clad half dollar business strike type of this series. This coin has a brilliant surface on the obverse and the reverse sides.
